Quantum first started touring with Muse in 2009 on their Resistance Tour, providing simple, punchy CO₂ jets. When they hit the Stadiums the next year in 2010, the British rock trio asked for more effects to wow their audiences. In answer we delivered 20 Stadium Shot Confetti Canons for a streamer effect that shot 50m into the air.
Since then Muse have continued to desire bigger and better effects for their performances and Quantum has delivered. In rehearsals for their Unsustainable Tour, rumours of a burning Ricoh Stadium spread like wild fire on twitter. The Q-SFX team was using their bespoke Spitfire Flames at the time, reaching heights of 20m, and was seen by passers by in Coventry nearly a mile away.
In 2015 we joined the Muse boys for their European Festivals Tour with more confetti and streamers, adding our Firesun Flame System to mix to bring some heat to their Download Festival set.
Most recently we were delighted to hit the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury 2016, helping the band open Friday night with a rocking show of flames, confetti, streamers, and an epic pyro finale.
Stand out effects include an array of personalised confetti ranging from dollar bills at Coachella Festival 2015 and grey drone shaped confetti for their 2015/16 Tour.
