For the first time in history all ten Formula One teams came together for a spectacular live show through the streets of London.
Focused around Trafalgar Square the event aimed to bring an accessible and exciting F1 to the wider public with educational demonstrations for schools, interviews, races, and live music.
Quantum joined the production to provide special effects for the main stage, with bands such as Bastille and Kaiser Chiefs taking to the stage. Alongside CO2 jets and pyro, the main effect came in the form of six Spitfire flame units stationed either side of Nelson’s Column, sending flames up to 25m high into the air in central London throughout the afternoon.
