X Factor Live Shows, Week 3

| Posted in: TV

It was Diva (and Legends) time on the X Factor Live shows this week and there were some serious notes being belted out of the studio.

Opening the show with a surprise performance was judge Nicole Scherzinger who took over the stage with a mash up of Whitney’s ‘I’m Every Woman’ and Aretha Franklin’s ‘Respect.’ Quantum provided a Pyro Waterfall that fell just behind the singer as she finished her note perfect rendition and added some extra sparkle to the entrance.

Next to step up to the mark was Sam Lavery taking on Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’ with a little help from our low smoke machines, whilst Saara Aalto put on a mischievous performance of Bjork’s ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’ with a sprinkling of pink confetti.

Honey G turned up the effects to serious diva level with a cool combination of low smoke and G-Flames for her version of Bowie and Queen’s ‘Under Pressure’ that sounded suspiciously a lot more like ‘Ice, Ice Baby’ by Vanilla Ice.

During 5AM’s performance of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’ we released gold mines either side of the stage before going on to shower girl band Four of Diamonds with blue and white confetti at the end of their ‘Lady Marmalade’ and ‘Bang Bang’ melody.

Bring on next week and the expertly timed Halloween theme…FRIGHT NIGHT!
