Muse returned to Reading and Leeds last weekend for their third time headlining the Festival.
Opening Leeds on Friday and closing the festivities on Sunday in Reading, the trio delivered a set full of hits and rare favourites that spanned their entire career, even bringing AC/DC rock legend Brian Johnson on stage to join them.
Having supplied Muse since 2009, Quantum provided special effects in the band’s customary style, releasing red and white streamers and confetti for track ‘Mercy’ and finishing on a towering pyrotechnic show for finale song ‘Knights of Cydonia.’
NME called it a ‘firework spectacular’ whilst the Guardian reported that the band reached ‘peak preposterousness’ as ‘each note of Chris Wolstenholme’s bass triggered a shower of fireworks.’ Helping to create those unbelievable and outrageous moments of entertainment at live events is what we thrive on at Quantum and it was a pleasure to be doing it alongside the Muse team once again. Thanks for having us!
