FA Cup Final, Wembley Stadium

| Posted in: Sports

Quantum SFX were amidst all the action on Saturday afternoon as Manchester United won the FA Cup Final against Crystal Palace.

Before the game kicked off the crowd was treated to some opening entertainment with Tinie Tempah performing a montage of his songs. We provided a variety of effects to help start the festivities.

First up was red, blue, and white smoke issued from waving flags behind the artist, shortly followed by a round of silver comets from 8 different positions on the pitch. For the chorus line ‘Written in the Stars’ white glitter mines were fired, whilst the finale saw a chase of comets followed by red and blue mines with silver jets, and flames around the stadium.

Unfortunately, due to chosen camera angles on the night, the full effects were hard to see live on television but you can catch a glimpse of them here and here.

After a very close match we returned to centre stage for the Royal presentation, releasing silver confetti from 15 cannons as Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney and team mate Michael Carrick lifted the trophy in victory (you can watch the moment here).

Back on the pitch for the spraying of champagne, we showered the winning team once more with streamers and deployed a final celebration of silver mines, flames, and 55ft silver jets. Check out the celebrations below.

Congratulations Manchester United!
